A) Paternal sample collection
Use the enclosed swabs and directions to collect DNA samples from one or more potential fathers.
There is no extra cost for any number of samples. You can also collect discreet samples (e.g. toothbrush). See the full list of acceptable samples under Paternal DNA Samples below. You can send both swabs and discreet samples, if necessary.
We advise that you collect these samples as soon as possible, as they are stable only for several weeks.
B) Maternal sample
In the package is a special blood collection kit, which you will take to a lab near you for a venous blood sample from your arm. We will arrange a convenient location for you to attend, and drawing the sample only takes a few minutes.
C) Send the samples to us
In the package is a pre-paid, pre-addressed courier pouch. Place all the samples as well as any documents in the pouch, and call the toll-free number 0800 088 5362 to have a courier service pick it up and deliver it to us overnight.
We will contact you in 5 business days with the results.

Non-invasive procedures
Non-invasive procedures are used in the vast majority of prenatal paternity determinations. The procedures involve no risk to the fetus since there is no invasion of uterine/placental integrity. Prenatal Paternities' DNAffirm technology provides definitive prenatal paternity determination using a small sample of maternal blood as a source of fetal DNA and buccal swabs from the potential father(s).
Prenatal Paternities Inc. non-invasive prenatal DNA testing uses cell free fetal DNA from the plasma of the mother-to-be. Circulating cell free fetal DNA which compises 3-13% of the cell free DNA in maternal blood is separated by Prenatal Paternities Inc. from all other blood constituents in about 4 days. The fetal DNA profile is determined and then compared to the DNA profile of potential fathers.
The simple 3-step process is outlined below:
Maternal Venous Blood - safe and non-invasive
Prenatal Paternities' prenatal paternity testing is based on comparing the potential father(s) DNA, obtained by buccal swabs or other methods, to the DNA of the fetus as evidenced in fetal DNA material found in the maternal venous blood. Non-invasive testing is done on samples from anywhere in the world, using our exclusive Accu-stable collection system which we supply.
The placenta is a wall of tissue that forms inside the uterus during pregnancy, and is comprised of fetal cells.
The placenta enables the fetus to receive, during gestation, all the nutrients and oxygen needed for normal development. The fetal side of the placental barrier has an intricate network of thousands of minute blood vessels, which are in fact the fetal blood supply, which receives food and oxygen by diffusion from the maternal side of the placenta.
Research studies demonstrate that the placenta is not just a passive membrane, but serves a vital function in fetal brain development. The placenta synthesizes serotonin and releases it in the fetal blood supply where it travels to the fetal brain. This supply of serotonin is essential for fetal brain development and failure to provide this supply can result in later mental and physical problems in the child. Because the placenta is so important in brain development Prenatal Paternities Inc. strongly recommends the use of its safe and non-invasive maternal venous blood sample, drawn from the mother's arm and not the use of invasive technologies which may traumatize the placenta.
At no time do the maternal and fetal blood supply mix, and waste from the fetus diffuses through the placenta into the maternal blood supply. Included in this diffusion is fetal DNA, which is a normal component of maternal blood during gestation. Fetal DNA is found in cells that migrate, but the most important source is cell-free molecules of fetal DNA. These are formed during the development of the fetus and placenta, because there is a certain amount of cell lysis and apoptosis. It is this naked fetal DNA, once isolated, which is used in the Prenatal Paternities Inc. prenatal test for paternity determination.
TRUST PRENATAL PATERNITIES' EXPERIENCE AND CLINICAL PRECISION
AFTER 7 WEEKS OF GESTATION, SAMPLES CAN BE TAKEN BY ATTENDING AT OUR FACILITY, OR WE WILL MAKE ARRANGEMENTS FOR SAMPLES TO BE TAKEN WHEREVER YOU LIVE, IN ANY COUNTRY, STATE OR PROVINCE. A CLINICALLY PRECISE DNA DETERMINATION OF PATERNITY IS AVAILABLE AT A TOTAL COST NEVER EXCEEDING £400 GBP. CALL US TOLL FREE AT 0800 088 5362 TO DISCUSS YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES
We supply the laboratory with the specialized collection tubes to be used for this purpose. They are returned to us after the collected blood has been centrifuged to separate the maternal red blood cells from the plasma.
The plasma portion is rich in fetal DNA, which is stabilized and preserved in our special collection system. This fetal DNA is matched against the paternal DNA and yields a conclusive result. Complete cost of the test is £400.00 (£50 for the sample kit and £350 on submitting samples for testing).
- Due to our high volume, we are able to offer a discount as well as payment plan options
Paternal DNA Samples
As in all paternity testing, DNA samples are required from the potential father(s). They are usually acquired by obtaining paternal buccal swab samples using our kit or at our facility. Paternity samples can also be acquired without the knowledge of the potential father(s), using a variety of discreet DNA samples listed below.
There may be occasions when the mother-to-be does not want the potential father(s) to be aware of her prenatal paternity test. Prenatal Paternities Inc. performs many prenatal tests where only the mother-to-be is aware of the test.
DNA samples from the potential father(s) can be obtained from a variety of discreet sources including but not limited to:
- Mucous (used Kleenex)
- A spot of blood or any blood sample
- Semen (used condom etc.)
- Nail clippings
- Ear wax
- Razor (including electric)
- Cigarette butts (2 or more)
- Chewing gum
- Toothbrush
- Saliva (on cups, envelopes etc.)
How the process works - Connecting the DNA from the fetus and the father(s)
DNA samples (buccal swabs or discreet samples) are collected from the presumed biological parents and compared to the fetal DNA obtained from the plasma portion of the small amounts of venous blood sample from the mother at only 7 weeks of gestation. The results of the test will prove:
- The presumed biological parents are indeed the genetic parents of the fetus
- The absence of any surrogate genetic link to the fetus
- The certified documents prepared by Prenatal Paternities Inc. facilitate birth registration and provide assurances to all parties

6 ReviewsThis is my 2nd time using your service. The first time was much better than the second time. My only complaint is that the results for the 2nd time took 7 days instead of 5. Otherwise very pleased.
I recently used Prenatal Paternites Inc to confirm a suspicion and they were amazing! Friendly and helpful customer support reps every time I called. My only comment would be that they do not work 24/7, which was unclear when I signed up. Other than that, I highly recommend!!
I'm soooo happy with the quick results..only took 5 business days from when we tested. Thank you Prenatal Paternities Inc.! I am still pregnant now and the results made my pregnancy much easier.
I got my results. You made it very easy. It was very worthwhile for me. I would recommend you any time.
